Terms of service
Last updated: July 2026 · Draft for legal review before public go-live
These terms govern your use of Passly at passly.rw and related services operated by Passly ("we", "us"). By creating an account, buying a ticket, or listing an event, you agree to these terms.
The service
Passly provides event discovery, ticketing, payment facilitation, and door check-in tools for organizers and attendees in Rwanda and the region. We are a technology platform — event content, pricing, and on-site experience remain the organizer's responsibility.
Accounts
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep your credentials secure.
- You are responsible for activity under your account. Use password reset if you suspect unauthorized access.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, misrepresent events, or create fraud or security risk.
Organizers
- You are solely responsible for event details, capacity, pricing, refund rules, and compliance with applicable laws and venue requirements.
- Published events may require platform approval before appearing in public Discover.
- You must honour tickets sold through Passly and communicate changes or cancellations promptly to buyers.
- Platform fees and commission (if any) are disclosed during setup and reflected on order records.
Attendees
- Tickets are subject to the organizer's stated refund and entry rules shown on the event page.
- Payment is processed through approved mobile money and card channels. Passly does not store full card numbers.
- QR tickets are personal. Do not share codes publicly; duplicate or fraudulent use may be refused at the door.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use Passly to:
- List fake, misleading, or illegal events
- Circumvent fees, abuse coupons, or manipulate inventory
- Harass users, scrape data, or attempt unauthorized access to systems
- Resell tickets in violation of organizer rules or applicable law
Limitation of liability
Passly is provided "as is" to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for organizer cancellations, venue conditions, payment network outages, or indirect damages. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid to Passly for the relevant transaction in the preceding twelve months.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda. Disputes should first be raised with us at support@passly.rw.
Final legal text will be reviewed by counsel and published before public marketing on passly.rw.
